Independent analytical consultants
BNOSAC is looking for consultants interested in working as an independent analytical consultant on several small statistical and data mining projects. You have an advanced degree in Statistics/Mathematics/AI/Machine Learning/Computer Science/Engineering/Economics and are very interested by new developments in analytical engineering. You will be working in small teams of 2 persons on different projects related to exploratory data mining, predictive modelling and text mining or statistics and BI.
You ideally have 2 years of experience in one of the following domains.
Risk analysis/Insurance
Biostatistics
Text mining
CRM Predictive modelling
Bayesian statistics for pharmacokinetics
Database marketing
At least 2 of the following technologies are part of your working knowledge.
- R/Rmetrics
- Bioconductor
- PostgreSQL/SQLite
- Sweave/Latex/OdfWeave
- Openbugs/BUGS
- XML/HTML
- Python/Beautifulsoup
- Pentaho
Your profile
Proactive self starter who is able to work both independently and as part of small teams
Effective communicator
Analytical, explorative and client-oriented
Fluent in English and one other language - preferably Dutch or French
